We conduct airtightness tests to measure the uncontrolled flow of air through a building envelope. Air Leakage or air infiltration can lead to energy wastage, resulting from the increased loads placed
upon the space heating and/or air conditioning systems.

We Provide SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) energy ratings, which calculate the Carbon Dioxide Emission Rate of a Dwelling (DER) and compare it to the Target Carbon Dioxide Emission Rate (TER) of a notional dwelling of the same size.

We Carry out RdSAP assessments. The RdSAP (Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure)
energy rating, calculates the running costs of a home based on standard occupancy, standard heating and lighting patterns in existing dwellings.

We calculate water consumption. Appendix A of Building Regulations Approved Document
G sets out a calculation methodology for assessing the whole house potable water consumption in new dwellings.

We provide assessments for new conversions. The SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) energy rating methodology also applies to conversions where there is a material change of use such as offices into flats.

We can provide calculations to demonstrate compliance with Building Regulations if your
proposed extension is considered to have too much glazing. Improvements can be made elsewhere to compensate
